All Cardiff Law degrees meet the requirements of the governing bodies of the solicitors and barristers branches of the legal profession so that LLB graduates may obtain exemption from the academic stage of the professional examinations.
The Cardiff LLB places great emphasis on student choice. In addition to the ‘foundation’ subjects required by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and Bar Standards Board, you can select from a wide range of options in your second and final years. Applications from those offering alternative/vocational/overseas qualifications (eg Welsh Baccalaureate, Access, Vocational A-level) are welcome as are those who may have combinations of qualifications and other relevant work/life experience.
