As the European Union develops, language skills are becoming increasingly attractive to both students and employers. The degree in Economics with a European Language combines the main elements of an economics degree with Spanish. The first year provides the core modules which establish the foundations for the rest of the degree, together with one module in French. Students are also given their opportunity to choose an additional module, according to their particular interests.
In the second year, equal attention is given to the study of economics and the enhancement of language skills. The language modules taken during the second year provide the ideal preparation for the third year, which is spent abroad. While attending University in the country where their language of choice is spoken, students will be taught and examined in that language.
