Welsh and Italian (BA)

Within this degree scheme, students will have the opportunity to pair an increasingly popular European language with Welsh – a language experiencing a resurgence within Wales and beyond. By combining these two courses, students will acquire a wide range of transferable skills that will be valuable in a range of future careers. In addition, students will spend their third year in Italy, practising and developing their acquired language skills.

Typical A-level Offer ABB (B in a language and B in Welsh first language or A in Welsh as second language. Three A-level subjects, generally including a B in a modern foreign language for beginners or B in Italian for the advanced pathway. General Studies is not accepted
Typical WBQ Offer Grade A in the Core and grades BB at GCE A-level, to include Welsh and another Language subject
Typical Int Bacc Offer 32/34 points including 5 points from a language at higher level
