French and German BA (Joint Honours) gives students the opportunity to combine two popular languages at degree level. The School of European Languages, Translation and Politics aims to create ‘global citizens’ of its students and, with in depth study of both French and German, two major world languages, graduates will be an asset for an increasingly global workforce. The year abroad is usually divided equally between France and Germany, where students are able to use and develop their acquired language skills.
