Key Funding Information
The BAFTA Scholarship programme assists talented people in need of financial support to study a post-graduate course in film, television or games.
The 2013 Scholarship Programme will award a minimum of six scholarships to UK students in need of financial assistance to take a postgraduate course related to a career in film, television or games.
Each scholarship will provide up to £10,000 to cover one year’s course fees, an industry mentor and free access to BAFTA events around the UK for a year.
In return, scholarship recipients are required to contribute to the BAFTA Guru online learning channel, and take part in BAFTA’s outreach activity to young people.
Residency: The scholarships are available to UK nationals. If you have officially confirmed UK residency status you can apply for a scholarship, but you will be required to supply confirmation from the Home Office of your residency status.
Other Criteria: The scholarships will be awarded based in part on demonstration of financial need.
The Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) in Broadcast Journalism course at Cardiff University is one of the eligible courses for this award. This award is not applicable to any other Cardiff University courses.
