The scholarship provides financial assistance towards fees and living expenses for those from the Llanelli/Kidwelly school districts in Camarthernshire pursuing further study at college or university.
Funding
Grants towards fees and living expenses for those pursuing post graduate courses at college or university. This usually constitutes a payment of about £5,000 for the academic year. However, there is a preference for those wishing to study in America, and grants for this can be as much as £8,000 for the academic year.

Eligibility
The Thomas & Elizabeth Williams Scholarship is available to those who have been resident for at least two years (during the 10 years immediately preceding the date of application) within a specified area of Carmarthenshire. Preference is given to the Kidwelly/Llanelli school district . Applicants must be under 30 years of age and should possess a good honours degree. The closing date is 26 th June 2012. Application forms will be available around Easter.
