Funding
The studentship includes full UK/EU fees and will also include an annual stipend of £20,516, subject to review.

Eligibility
Academic Criteria: At least a 2:1 or equivalent at undergraduate level in a relevant topic area. This can range from subject areas such as: psychology, neuroscience, biology, chemistry, engineering, medical studies, etc.
Residency: This project is open to all students without further restrictions. The studentship will provide full UK/EU tuition fees plus a doctoral stipend to all students. Successful international applicants will be expected to make up the remainder of the international tuition fees from another funding source.

The application process for start date of October 2013 will close on Friday 4th January 2013.
No separate application is necessary – consideration is automatic on applying for Doctor of Philosophy in the School of Biosciences (October 2013 start) through the normal university application portal.
Please indicate the project title, the supervisor and the research centre on your application and in your research proposal.
Applicants should fill out the Integrative Neuroscience online application using Cardiff's Online Application Service.
Please include the following documents with your application:
- Two referee letters of support - IMPORTANT: it is the applicant's responsibility that two referee support letters are provided with applications
- In place of the research proposal - A statement of why you want to study this 4-year PhD programme in Integrative Neuroscience and why you are suitable (approximately 500 words)
- An equality monitoring form
- A CV detailing education and relevant work experience
Applicants should state on the application form that they wish to be considered for this studentship, quoting the 4-year PhD Programme title.
