School of Psychology
The Cardiff School of Psychology received excellent scores in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE), appearing at the top of our subject table. The Expert Panel's recognition of the high quality and relevance of our research has been continued from the previous assessments (1996, 2001) where the School received the highest possible ratings of 5*. Our teaching was also judged to be ‘Excellent’ in the Teaching Quality Assessment. With acknowledged excellence in research and teaching, and being one of the largest Psychology departments in Britain, we are able to offer flexibility and a range of degree programmes to suit different purposes and interests.
