Implantology (MSc/PgDip)

Course Aims

The programme offers knowledge and expertise in the science and practice of implantology, from theoretical science through restorative treatment planning to clinical practice in the direct management of patients requiring fixed and removable implant-retained prostheses.

Course Description

The course offers individuals the opportunity to explore and analyse existing and developing theories/concepts underpinning the field of implantology. The course facilitates professional and personal growth through a wide range of educational and direct clinical experiences.

The course leads to a qualification required for a number of specialist roles.

Entry Requirements

The programme is suitable for postgraduate dental students with a minimum 2:2 Bachelor of Dental Surgery.

Applicants whose first language is not English will be required to obtain an overall IELTS score of 7 with a minimum score of 6 in each of the four bands). Applicants are required to have achieved the IELTS prior to an application being submitted.

Application deadline: Deadline for applications will be 31 December each year.  Late applications may be taken if courses are not fully subscribed by this date
