To offer knowledge and expertise for those wishing to pursue advanced research within a healthcare setting.
Programme Description
Occupation and Health is the main research theme of the discipline of Occupational Therapy. The School is the principal centre for occupational therapy education, continued professional development and research in Wales.
Research activity is divided into four sub-themes:
- Service development and professional practice in health and social care
- Education and professional development
- Health and wellbeing through purposeful occupation
- Effectiveness of occupational therapy interventions
Special Features
The School has an active Research Student Seminar Series where research students of the School are encouraged to present and discuss their research with fellow students and staff of the School.
Entry Requirements
Suitable for graduates in a field relevant to the particular project. A good Honours degree or equivalent is required.
Note: International students pursuing part-time programmes of study are not eligible for Tier 4 General Student) visas and must have alternative leave to remain in the UK if they intend to study at the University in person.
